The city of San Juan is the capital and the largest city in the country. The archipelago of Puerto Rico includes the main island and also a few smaller ones like the island of Vieques, the island of Culebra, and others. Puerto Rico can be found about 1,000 miles southeast of the city of Miami, about 1,100 miles southeast of Havana, about 375 miles east of Port-au-Prince, and about 535 miles north of Caracas. This archipelago forms the northern and northeastern borders of the Caribbean Sea, one of the largest seas on the planet located in the southwestern corner of the North Atlantic Ocean.
